2010 Daytona show was a success

For the second straight year, we provided shipping supplies and services to vendors and attendees at last weekend's 2010 National Breeders' Expo -- and it was a big success!
- UPS delivered 100 percent live arrival on Next Day Air packages.
- Our kits made it easy for people to pack their reptiles for shipment.
- While we didn't ship third party snakes, we helped lots of vendors and attendees get their reptiles and supplies home safely.

ShipYourReptiles going to 2010 Daytona show

ShipYourReptiles.com will be serving attendees and vendors at the Aug. 20-22 National Reptile Breeders Expo in Daytona Beach.
Our booth is to the left inside the expo entrance. Look for the 12-foot-tall green banner.
You can ship dry goods and reptiles not including snakes.
You cannot ship live snakes.
We have been working closely with UPS on the live snake shipping issue. Today we got the official word from UPS' director of dangerous goods:
UPS currently does not allow third party or online snake shipping by anyone. We have learned that all existing snake exceptions apply only to individual breeders or sellers, not their third party or online shipping operations.
While we are fighting hard to allow snake shipping, anyone who currently allows third party or online snake shipping is doing so without UPS permission. Shipments can be stopped and snakes' lives can be endangered. For this reason, we will not book shipments of live snakes at the Daytona show.

Temporary change in snake shipping policy

Due to some irresponsible shippers, UPS has directed our customers to temporarily stop shipping snakes with ShipYourReptiles.com.
We are working hard to reinstate safe snake shipping for our customers and the entire reptile community.
Other types of UPS-approved non-venomous reptiles — including geckos, lizards and turtles — may be shipped with ShipYourReptiles.com.
To make your shipments easy, we recommend you drop off your packages at a Staples or Office Depot shipping counter.
We will keep you updated on this matter.

Success in Daytona

We provided shipping services to vendors and attendees at last weekend's 2009 National Breeders' Expo, and it was a huge success!
We shipped more than 200 packages with a 100 percent on-time success rate. All reptiles arrived safe and sound.
ShipYourReptiles enjoyed a terrific reception and awesome feedback from the entire reptile community. Next year will be even bigger and better!
